Hi, my name is Brittney MacIntyre, and I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I have the privilege of working in a role that calls for trusting in my clients' ability to make meaningful changes, even when they might feel like nothing can get better. No matter how bad, messy, or scattered things may feel, I will still be here. I will hold this container for us, providing a safe and supportive space to navigate the challenges together.

My Approach

As a clinician, a key part of my role is to hold onto hope and create a safe space for clients to process their emotions, explore their challenges, and work toward their goals.I have been in this profession for five years, and one of my key takeaways is that sometimes my role is simply to bear witness to indescribable pain. In doing so, clients do not have to face their struggles alone.  I enjoy the nuance of therapy, as it can be spontaneous, fluid, and sometimes jagged. Over the years, I have worked with clients facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, childhood trauma, psychosis, and ruptures in daily life caused by unemployment, family dynamics, and struggles in both romantic and platonic relationships. Therapy is a beautiful and sacred space where clients can heal, process, and learn, offering them the opportunity to move toward growth and self-discovery.
